The Snare Drum

Snare Drum. It has two plastic or calfskin drum heads stretched
tightly over a metal frame. The percussion family has international
ancestors from the Middle East, Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Europe.
The Snare Drum joined the orchestra nearly 200 years ago.
