Nebo Orchestra

Students in Nebo Orchestra will learn to play violin, viola, or cello.  This group is open to any Nebo student in 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade who owns or rents a violin, viola, or cello.  The Nebo String Orchestra consists of two groups:  Beginning Strings and Advanced Strings.  Both groups will meet on Wednesday from 3:00 to 4:00 PM during ASP.    Mr. Michaud and Ms. Queen will teacher in this exciting program.

Students must provide the following for the Nebo ASP String Orchestra. 

  • Violin with Bow and Case

  • Method Book:  Essential Elements 2000 for Strings

  • Music stand

  • Shoulder rest or large sponge and rubber bands.

Parents may obtain what they need at any local music store.  The following music stores rent instruments:

All students in Nebo Orchestra will need to pay the Nebo Fine Arts After School Program registration and materials fee of $30 per semester.  More Information on the Nebo Fine Arts After School Program will be available in August.
