Microsoft Power Point and Open Office Impress are used to create multimedia communication that uses text, graphics, sound, hyperlinks, and video on a video screen. If you intend to communiate your ideas with a video screen in a presentation setting, use Power Point or Open Office Impress. PowerPoint and Impress can also be used for drawing / graphic design and animation.
